Four-Day Generative AI Conclave: LangChain Certification Programme Showcases Cutting-Edge AI Trends

Middlesex University Dubai recently concluded its inaugural immersive four-day Generative AI Conclave: LangChain Certification Programme from 17 to 18 and 24 to 25 February 2024. Students delved into the realms of generative AI with interactive sessions, engaging keynote speeches, and a stimulating hackathon, exploring the potential of LangChain technology.

Highlights of the Generative AI Conclave included:

LangChain Certification Course: An end-to-end LangChain certification course recommended by LangChain themselves.

Interactive Keynote Speeches: Distinguished keynote speakers shared insights into the latest cutting-edge AI trends, offering valuable perspectives on the future of generative AI.

Hands-On Hackathon: This was the highlight of the event where participants collaborated, competed, and innovated to tackle real-world challenges using generative AI techniques.

Networking Opportunities: Attendees had the chance to connect with peers, professionals, and pioneers in the field offering them collaborative opportunities.

Study Materials: Participants also received a complete pack of Gen AI study materials and in-house-developed cheat sheets to further explore the topic of generative AI.

The Conclave attracted a diverse audience, including AI enthusiasts, data science professionals, students, and industry experts with varying levels of expertise in Data Science and Python coding.

Three students from Middlesex University (MDX) Dubai bagged the prestigious Best Student Campaign award at the 2024 PRCA MENA Awards, held on 25 April at the Taj Dubai, Business Bay. Zuha Ansar, Sahana Rais, and Nami Arujo, all second-year students enrolled in the BA Hons Advertising, PR, and Branding programme, were honoured for their exceptional work on a mock campaign developed for the Theatre of Digital Arts (TODA).

The students of the Accounting and Finance Department celebrated the success of the second edition of the Financial Modeling Club (FMC2.0) on 6 March 2024. Led by students, this year’s FMC 2.0 featured four upskilling workshops and two competitions. A total of fifty-five students secured the Foundations Certificate in Financial Modeling, offered by our academic partner, FMI. Special congratulations to Chirag Kherajani for earning the Financial Modeling Institute scholarship for Advanced Financial Modeling certification.
