Insightsx Lab hosts over 100 data scientists for Discover Lakehouse Dubai event

On Thursday 10 November 2022, our Insightsx Lab, headed by Dr. Krishnadas Nanath, successfully hosted “Discover Lakehouse Dubai”, the first Databricks event in the UAE held in collaboration with Databricks and Al Futtaim Group.

The event was held at our Dubai Knowledge Park campus and attracted over 100 data scientists and industry professionals in the UAE.

Alongside several keynote sessions about the latest insights in Data Engineering and AI, the attendees experienced technical workshops that helped them enhance their data and AI capabilities.

Insights on Al Futtaim AI use cases and Databricks platform demo sessions aimed to assist the participants in improving their organisations’ data strategies.

Following the conclusion of this successful event, the Insightsx Lab aims to extend this industry collaboration to Data Engineering certifications for students and Lab members.
