Teaching and Learning day, Dubai

The Teaching and Learning Committee organized a teaching and learning day on Thursday 9 September 2021 in our Campus in Dubai Knowledge Park. The event was attended by full time and adjunct academics from across programmes, departments and disciplines who met in person to share best practices and challenges and to exchange ideas on how to improve their teaching practice and enhance the student experience in the classroom and beyond. Participants enjoyed interesting discussions, valuable exchanges and creative activities and explored strategies to enhance student learning, motivation and engagement and to enrich our students’ experience in the classroom, virtual or in person. They worked on a range of topics and themes all centered around student engagement in online and in person learning settings. The success of the event is a great testimony of the strength and reach of our community of practice and it was an excellent way to start the new academic year.
