  • Wednesday, 23 October 2019

Accounting and Finance Faculty from Middlesex University Dubai’s School of Business recently held the second session of the Alumni Discourse Series. They were joined by Middlesex alumna Vrunda Sharma who gave a talk on financial modelling; explaining the process of discounted cash flows valuation using Apple Inc. as an example. Students were given an insight into preparation of projected financials, estimation of cost of capital, and performing sensitivity and scenario analysis.

She graduated from Middlesex University Dubai in 2016 with a First Class Honours degree in Accounting and Finance. During her time at University she undertook additional responsibilities through joining the Student Learning Assistants, and acted as the main coordinator at the University’s Youth Festival. She was chosen as the Best Careers and Employment Team Leader during her final year.
