Trip to GITEX during Technology Week

 Five second year Journalism students were offered exclusive access to the Canon stand at the GITEX Technology Week today. The five interviewed Georges Akl, Regional Business Development Manager, and Ayman Ali, Senior Regional Marketing Manager in an attempt to create technology and business reports to enhance their portfolios. These students were required to develop a digital magazine that includes a minimum of four stories, and incorporates multiple digital elements. One of the staple components is a filmed interview edited to fit various social media formats. In a bid to achieve this, they collaborated with Canon, a Japanese multinational corporation specializing in the manufacture of imaging and optical products, including cameras, camcorders, photocopiers, steppers, computer printers and medical equipment.
