CEI Students participate at the Liv4Innovation event

10 students from Middlesex University Dubai’s Computer Engineering and Informatics Programmes attended the Liv4Innovation event hosted by YouthHub in February. The event was organised by the Liv. Digital Bank created by Emirates NBD and non-profitable associations: Arab Women in Computing, OpenUAE and Emirates Digital Association for Women. The event enabled the students to network, learn more about emerging technologies and an overview of the skills and jobs within the digital world.

Provided with words of wisdom and expertise from the guest speakers, the students were encouraged to challenge themselves, innovate and create to become future entrepreneurs.

The students were accompanied by Mr Jaspreet Singh Sethi and Ms Engie Bashir from Middlesex University Dubai’s Computer Engineering and Informatics Department.

The students of the Accounting and Finance Department celebrated the success of the second edition of the Financial Modeling Club (FMC2.0) on 6 March 2024. Led by students, this year’s FMC 2.0 featured four upskilling workshops and two competitions. A total of fifty-five students secured the Foundations Certificate in Financial Modeling, offered by our academic partner, FMI. Special congratulations to Chirag Kherajani for earning the Financial Modeling Institute scholarship for Advanced Financial Modeling certification.
