MDX Students take part in L’Oreal’s 2020 Sustainability Challenge

Yesterday, students from our Media, Fashion and Business programmes came together in the Oasis Theatre to learn more about L'Oreal's 2020 sustainability challenge - to reduce or eradicate plastic from the beauty industry.
For of their senior representatives spoke to students about L'Oreal as an employer, about its different brands, and most importantly about the L'Oreal Brand Storm challenge.
L'Oreal's team challenged students to form teams of three, and to brainstorm an initial idea before the end of February. Then, if selected, they may be invited to L'Oreal's headquarters to pitch their concept with the chance to win a 3-month work experience in Paris.

Led by students, this year’s FMC 2.0 featured four upskilling workshops and two competitions. A total of fifty-five students secured the Foundations Certificate in Financial Modeling, offered by our academic partner, FMI. Special congratulations to Chirag Kherajani for earning the Financial Modeling Institute scholarship for Advanced Financial Modeling certification.
