A number of MDX students (15 students) were hosted by Michelle Kuehn and Waleed Din at Real Boxing Gym today. Michelle is a former member of ITP's editorial team, a PR officer, and is also part of a variety of media activities promoting sport on satellite TV and across social media. The students were working on an assignment/pitch related to Adidas for the D&AD awards which require a campaign to encourage women and girls into 'new' sports such as weightlifting and boxing. Pro-boxer Waleed Din showed them what it takes to train as a boxer, whilst gym owner (and boxer) Michelle Kuehn shared stories from her past as PR officer in a Dubai agency, a founder of a UAE digital magazine, and the new season of reality show, Fighting Fit which will be shown across ESPN's digital channels. Students then had the chance to shoot photography and film footage for their concepts.
