Internship Recognition Ceremony

Middlesex University Dubai held a ceremony to welcome back its senior students after the summer vacation today. The special luncheon was hosted by the university's pro vice-chancellor, Dr Cedwyn Fernandes who presented certificates to over fifty students who completed internships organised by the university's faculty. The students were joined by some of their employers who took the opportunity to reconnect and thank them for their work. Students from the second year journalism module recorded the event and interviewed the visitors.

The students of the Accounting and Finance Department celebrated the success of the second edition of the Financial Modeling Club (FMC2.0) on 6 March 2024. Led by students, this year’s FMC 2.0 featured four upskilling workshops and two competitions. A total of fifty-five students secured the Foundations Certificate in Financial Modeling, offered by our academic partner, FMI. Special congratulations to Chirag Kherajani for earning the Financial Modeling Institute scholarship for Advanced Financial Modeling certification.
The month of February kicked off with an immersive field trip to enrich the student experience at the AI Film Festival at Expo City Dubai
In March, both the third-year January cohort and first-year September cohort students embarked on a field trip to explore the UAE Innovates Exhibition and the DHL Innovation Hub
