Middlesex University Dubai strengthens ties with partners in Pakistan
- Monday, 12 December 2022
Members of our Admissions Team and faculty recently embarked on a landmark trip to Pakistan, meeting with partners, students, counsellors and faculty at schools and education centres across the country.
Throughout the visit, Maryam Farooq, Senior Student Recruitment and Outreach Executive, and Dr Fehmida Hussain, Head of Computer Engineering and Informatics, focused on enhancing our existing partnerships and fostering new relationships.
They also met with prospective students who are looking to embark on studying at Middlesex University Dubai in the upcoming intakes, providing them with essential information to make their transition to UK study in Dubai smooth and ensure they feel welcome as a member of our community from day one.
Attracted by the fact our degrees are affordable, globally recognised, and informed by the latest insights from industry, our students from Pakistan come to Dubai to study closer to home. Many also choose Dubai in order to take advantage of the opportunity to transfer their studies overseas to our London campus for a truly international student experience.
We offer international scholarships and grants for students from Pakistan and from around the world, rewarding their talents inside and outside the classroom and making it easier than ever before to achieve a quality UK degree.
Dr Fehmida said: “Pakistan has always been a strong focus for Middlesex University Dubai and will continue to be, with a growing number of students looking to study for a quality UK degree and launch their careers in Dubai.”
Maryam said: "I was delighted to represent Middlesex University Dubai on this trip and meet with so many lovely and ambitious students and schools counsellors. This visit has shown the importance of being on the ground to continue to expand our networks and support talented students to realise their educational goals through a world-class British degree. We appreciate and thank each institution for their welcome and hospitality!"
