Throughout the day, you will receive information about the range of services offered as well as the activities conducted by the Careers and Employability Services (CES) team to help you succeed in your career goals.
There is an exciting session on resume and cover letter writing. We will discuss the importance of succinctly outlining your qualifications, skills, and experiences for internship & job applications. This workshop is for everyone; from those who don’t already have a resume to those who wish to enhance their current resume and cover letter writing skills. By attending the workshop, you will be well-prepared for the upcoming Career Fairs to put your best foot forward.
In the next informative session, you will learn about the general interview process and the differences between face-to-face and virtual interviews. We will also focus on some key tips and do' s and don'ts for interview success. These skills will be crucial for all students and graduates looking to enter the professional world.
We will also host an exciting cross-campus session where Middlesex University career experts from our Dubai, Mauritius, and London campuses will discuss contemporary issues in employability in an increasingly globalised world. This session will be important for those who plan to work internationally post-graduation. Attendees will learn about employment trends and how to access job opportunities globally.
In the final session of the day, you will get the opportunity to hear from our own alumni working in various industries about the nature and scope of their work and the paths they’ve taken to build their dream careers. They will share insights and reflections on their journeys that will help you get inspiration for your own.
