What resolutions have you made for 2023? We recommend adding these seven resolutions to boost your career. During this interactive workshop, you will engage with an interesting mix of tasks, activities, and group exercises. Whether it’s about setting goals or having the best profile to showcase to employers on LinkedIn, this interactive session will offer you resolutions that you will be able to complete!

Session 2: Masterclass

Going Up? A Guide to a Great Elevator Pitch

If you happen to bump into someone you’ve been eagerly waiting to meet in an elevator, how will you introduce yourself, get your point across, and ask to stay connected—all before that person gets off the elevator? This is what this Masterclass is all about. At the end of this talk, you will be well-equipped to create a compelling elevator pitch for yourself, so you are ready to make a good first impression with potential employers.

Session 3: Workshop

Can you ace an Aptitude Test? It’s quite elementary, my dear Watson!

Have you ever wondered how you would perform in cognitive and numerical assessments that the world's best employers use for recruitment? In this workshop, your skills and competencies will be put to test to tell you more about your key strengths and areas you need to improve as a job applicant.

Why should students attend the Employability Bootcamp?

The Middlesex Employability Expo, under which the CES Bootcamps and Career Fairs have been organised, is an initiative launched to be in line with our commitment to ensure that our graduates are 100% employable. With ever-increasing competition in the professional world, it is of utmost importance for students to understand how to best showcase the unique mix of skills, abilities, and personal qualities they possess in a way that makes them noticeable to employers. The sessions organised by CES help to prepare students in doing just that; increase their visibility among the crowd, prepare them for work life and support their transition from education to employment.
