Flexibility is key for students when deciding on their educational future, making Middlesex University Dubai the University of choice in the region.
Students, both new and returning, arrived on campus and attended online classes as they experienced their week of welcome at Middlesex University Dubai, and, it turns out, the ‘new normal’ is not so bad after all — with students and staff adapting to the new way of teaching and learning. The campus has undergone a complete transformation which has seen students embracing the change and fully adhering to the processes in place to ensure everyone remains safe.
The MDX Track and Trace system has certainly been a highlight, showcasing just how tech savvy Generation Z are. If you combine safety measures with innovative technology — students will thrive to make it work.
Across the globe there are many common safety measures seen across education institutions, but Middlesex University Dubai is always keen to take it that one step further.
Recognising the importance of flexibility and adaptability in an ever-changing world, Middlesex University Dubai announced that it would be providing students with the option to choose from two mode of study: Blended Learning or Distance Learning (100% online) under its ‘Think Smart. Study Different.’ model.
The flexibility of being able to study through a blended or distance learning mode has seen students enrolling online at the University from as far afield as Latin America and other international students from Russia, Turkmenistan, Thailand, to name a few, have flown into the Emirate and eagerly attended on-campus classes.
“Providing students with the option to select their mode of study has enabled them to have control over their learning during a year that has otherwise been filled with uncertainty,” said Dr Cedwyn Fernandes, Pro Vice-Chancellor and Director of Middlesex University Dubai. “Over the past week we have seen students who are thrilled to be back on campus for that ‘face-to-face’ learning experience, as well as those who have provided excellent feedback on the online study mode.”
“We recognise the importance of an all-round student experience that transcends the classroom,” added Dr Fernandes. “Students who study online can rest assured knowing that they are able to have this same experience without having to physically be on campus.”
There is a place for you! Don’t delay your studies — with final admissions still open for the 5-star rated institution. Regardless of the chosen mode of study, the University is guaranteed to provide students with education continuity, support throughout their studies, and a student experience with a difference.
