Team MDX Hosts Virtual Awards Night 2020

Despite what has been a challenging 2020 as people across the world adapt to change brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Student Activities Team at Middlesex University Dubai hosted a fantastic Virtual Awards Night to recognise and celebrate the University’s social and sports stars.
Middlesex University Dubai prides itself on providing a truly unique and exciting student experience, and recognises that extracurricular activities and social experiences on campus are fundamental to this experience.
The Student Activities Awards Night is held annually to celebrate the hard work, dedication and talent of the University’s student cohort. This year’s stars were the 400+ volunteers who together, dedicated a total of 3,600 hours to supporting with events at the University – from Week of Welcome, to the annual Festive Bazaar, the Class of 2019 Graduation Ceremony, and various recruitment events.
More than 150 students were recognised – from volunteers to the Rising Stars of the University’s social clubs, to the Best Players and Sports Stars of the academic year 2019/20.
