MDX Students awarded with DIFC Scholarship

Middlesex University Dubai Law students were awarded the 2019 DIFC Courts scholarship comprising of AED 15,000 tuition assistance provided by the DIFC Courts and AED 500 in books offered by Lexis Nexis. The scholarship, which has been awarded for the second consecutive year to students from Middlesex University Dubai, is part of the DIFC Courts’ Legal Excellence Programme, established to strengthen legal practice in the region. The students were selected and recognised for their commitment to the development of the global rule of law and their high academic achievement.

The scholarships were awarded to the students in a public ceremony by Chief Justice of the DIFC Courts, Tun Zaki Azmi. Dr Cedwyn Fernandes, Pro Vice-Chancellor and Director, Dr Tenia Kyriazi, Deputy Director (Academic Operations) and Samantha Roberts, Campus Programme Coordinator for Undergraduate Law and Politics programmes, attended the ceremony to congratulate the students on this wonderful achievement.
