MDX Blood Donation Drive 2018

A single drop can save a life.
Twice a year, Middlesex University Dubai organises blood donation drives in association with Dubai Health Authority, with all donations going to the LATIFA Children’s Hospital, the largest mother and child hospital in the UAE, for children with thalassemia and other blood related diseases.
Recently Club Impact organised a seamless five hour event with refreshments provided to all donors in the University’s HUB19. Approximately 100 students and staff registered at the donation centre and we were able to collect 57 pints of blood for this extremely important cause.

The students of the Accounting and Finance Department celebrated the success of the second edition of the Financial Modeling Club (FMC2.0) on 6 March 2024. Led by students, this year’s FMC 2.0 featured four upskilling workshops and two competitions. A total of fifty-five students secured the Foundations Certificate in Financial Modeling, offered by our academic partner, FMI. Special congratulations to Chirag Kherajani for earning the Financial Modeling Institute scholarship for Advanced Financial Modeling certification.
