Middlesex University Dubai hosted their 7th Annual Festive Bazaar on 28 November 2017

  • Sunday, 10 December 2017

The traditional charitable Festive Bazaar took place in the courtyard of Block 16 and Block 17 under the supervision of Middlesex University Dubai’s Club Impact. Over 600 visitors came and purchased unique merchandise and indulged their taste buds with festive dishes, from hot chocolate to karak tea. The student chefs from our Baking Club really outdid themselves and the University’s Dance Club delighted the crowd with expertly choreographed dance routines.

The Festive Bazaar is one of the most highly anticipated student events in our academic calendar and we were delighted to welcome junior students of the Emirates International School – who sang a series of carols.

Our own burlesque ‘Holiday’s Got Talent’ – a student collaboration between the Writing Club, Drama Club, Arts Club and Music Club entertained a full auditorium with a brilliant parody of the hugely popular talent show.

All proceedings from the day went to Al Jalila Foundation.

One again, we thank Emirates International School, Mr Paul Jones – Head of Music Department and Choir Conductor at the school, TECOM and all of our talented students for putting on this magnificent event.
