The IFP Programme is aimed at students who have completed secondary school, but would like to improve their study skills to meet the entry requirements for an undergraduate programme at MDX. This enables students to settle into student life, before making any decisions about what they want to focus their studies on.Graduating an IFP course is not equivalent to an honors degree.
Yes, all of our programmes are taught in English. Applicants will be asked to prove they meet the minimum level required to be able to complete the programme by completing a short test.
Yes. We have designated teams whose job is to guide you through every process as simply as possible. Our Admissions Counsellors will be your first point of contact, and then our Visa Team and Finance Team will also be on hand when required.
No, not at all! Students can choose to live wherever they like, including with family or friends in the city. However please note that the student will have to manage furnishings, bills and contracts on their own if it is not an official University Accommodation location.
Quite possibly! We have various options when it comes to scholarships and grants, and our Admissions Team will be able to advise you on which ones work for you.
Yes! For those who are able to visit the UAE, you can drop by to any of our Open Days which will be posted on our social media and online, or just give our Admissions Team a call and they can set up an appointment. If you’re not able to visit in person, we have Virtual Open Days too! These will also be displayed on our website.
Our goal is for you to graduate as 100% employable. If you choose to stay and work in the UAE following your degree, you can definitely do so as long as you find employment to take over your visa sponsorship.
