The Nervous Nonsense Network

About the Collection
The Nervous Nonsense Network is a concept that delves into the emotional stages of anxiety, a restless state where the mind races, stability slips, and reality begins to distort. My collection is sustainable by using biodegradable fabrics like cotton. I repurposed my dad’s old shirt to create eye motifs, patch-worked into a cape as a personal and symbolic gesture. The jacket features detailed fabric manipulation, adding texture and depth to the emotional narrative. Rhinestones are used throughout the back of the cape to contrast fragility with brilliance. This work reflects how both anxiety and sustainability challenge us to confront, transform, and uncover beauty in what’s often dismissed or overlooked.
