Shapes Gone Wild

About the Collection
My collection ‘Shapes Gone Wild’ is inspired by the Sadhu fabric, a traditional Arab textile I found in my grandmother’s closet. This fabric, once draped over sofas and folded neatly in cupboards, became the heart of my collection. Sadhu is bold, traditional, and full of cultural meaning. Arab patterns built from triangles, rectangles, and other bossy shapes inspired me to scale things up and have fun with form. I upcycled Sadhu (fully grandma-approved) and paired it with a sustainable, plant-based crepe because saving the planet is also part of the vibe. This collection is where heritage meets humour, culture meets creativity, and old fabric gets a fashionable second chance.
