Heartbreak ‘A journey through love and loss’

About the Collection

Heartbreak often inspires personal transformation, and for many, that change is expressed through fashion. I made my project sustainable by using natural fabrics and incorporating up cycled materials from used clothes. This concept explores how individuals cope with emotional pain by creatively up cycling old garments. In my case, I used black netting from an old dress transforming a piece that held memories into something new, symbolising healing, growth, and sustainability. It reframes heartbreak not as an end, but as a sustainable rebirth, both emotionally and environmentally.
