MDX is there to support you through every step of your progression, no matter when you join us or how far you’d like to take your education journey.

GRANTS
We believe that education should be affordable and accessible, allowing you greater opportunities to achieve success in your education and beyond.
If you choose to stay and further your education with Middlesex University Dubai, you could be rewarded with a grant or financial support towards your new tuition fees.
International Foundation Programme to Undergraduate Progression Grant
Complete your application to study an undergraduate degree on or before Friday 7th April to receive a progression grant of AED 2500.
If you complete your application between 7th April and 4th August, you'll still be eligible to receive a grant of AED 2000.
Undergraduate to Postgraduate Progression Grant
Complete your application to study a postgraduate degree on or before Friday 7th April to receive a progression grant of AED 2500.
If you complete your application between 7th April and 4th August, you'll still be eligible to receive a grant of AED 2000.
Undergraduate to Postgraduate Alumni Grant
Current undergraduate students will also receive an alumni grant which entitles you to a further 25% off your tuition fees!
PROGRESSION SUPPORT
IFP students and Year Three undergraduate students will have access to a dedicated Progression Counsellor who will visit classes and be available for questions about the process as well as supporting you in making an application.
We will also host sessions where students will hear from industry professionals about the genuine impact of further education on your career path, or quiz current students who have decided to stay on themselves.
BUDDY SYSTEM
As well as having access to a progression counsellor, students can opt to be in contact with a progression buddy. You will have access to speak to and seek guidance and support from someone who has already been through the process.
MERRITT INITIATIVE
#TeamMDX has so many amazing students who go above and beyond to ensure they are high achievers in and outside the classroom. We want to award you for all your hard work.
Students who apply themselves to extracurricular activities both inside and outside of university life, with the intention of enhancing their skillsets and connecting with potential employers, can be rewarded through a Merritt system which will then contribute to their further education or towards them securing a graduate position after their studies.
Students who accumulate more than 60 hours of extra-curricular activity whilst maintaining exceptional grades will receive Middlesex University Dubai's very own XXX award. This award is a symbol of your hard work and determination to succeed. Achieving this award shows that you have enhanced your personal and professional skills and showed excellent academic performance, empowering you to go out and secure your dream role!
Please note: This would have to be pre-approved and signed off by an official member of MDX faculty.
STUDENT SUCCESS FESTIVAL
Completing your degree after three years of hard work and determination will be a joyous moment and it is important to celebrate your successes! Our final year undergraduate students will be invited to attend our Student Success Festival alongside their family members to celebrate with faculty to recognise and celebrate the hard work that goes into completing a milestone!
VIRTUAL INFORMATION SESSIONS
Our faculty are on hand for informative virtual information sessions, where students can log in with and speak directly to current students about anything from tuition fees, admissions processes, module content, tours and more. We understand that the decision to progress your studies is an important one and we want to ensure you have all you need to make the right decision for you.
POSTGRADUATE PROJECT
Third year students contemplating a postgraduate degree will have the opportunity to collaborate on a postgraduate style project with similar students from all disciplines. This will give a taster of the types of projects carried out at Postgraduate level, and in the working world.
Students will attend a networking event prior to the project, during which they will be able to engage with postgraduate faculty, meet potential new classmates and experience some of postgraduate life!
PARTNER TOURS
Leveraging our brilliant industry connections, students would be given the opportunity to apply for a week-long session shadowing relevant industry figures within their offices. There, they can establish what a working day looks like, and how they could contribute with the knowledge they have now, compared to another year of study.
