I'm connecting high-potential young talent (black) and experienced game-changers (grey) to great businesses in the Middle East. This is what I do best!

About me

I'm a Talent & HR Consultant with great insights, contagious positive energy and comprehensive experience working with some of the top local & multinational employers in the Middle East.

I also promote a Mentally Healthier Workplace through Employee Assistance Programs offered by licensed mental health professionals.

Working in Teams

Facilitator: Mohammed Meraj

#SQUADGOALS

Do you dread group-work? Ever wonder how some groups gel so well and others become an absolute nightmare to work with.

In this interactive workshop, you will learn tips and skills to help you succeed in any group task at University. Through hands-on activities, we will look at what it takes to have productive collaborative relationships with your fellow students.

More specifically, you will:

  • Identify team roles and challenges that groups can face
  • Learn strategies for managing conflict, stress and team dynamics
  • Recognise your own strengths that will help you success in a team environment

In addition helping you learn how to form the right study groups, this workshop focusses on a key skill for employability and career success. A 2018 survey which questioned 251 managing directors, chief executives and senior managers across UK industries, as well as more than 500 14- to 16-year-olds found that Communication and Teamwork were highlighted as the top two skills UK employers look for in job candidates (see CVQO, 2018).

Finally, this workshop requires moderate level of physical activity. So please dress comfortably and if you have any concerns, please alert the workshop facilitator right at the beginning of the session.
