Guest speaker Katharina Hicker, Founder and Managing Director of Castleforbes Communications, will show you how you can identify speaking opportunities that will build your confidence when addressing an audience. Katharina will delve into the exciting world of public speaking and showcase the why, how and what of build your speaker platform!
12.00 – 1.00pm Interview Tips and Tricks – Virtual
This workshop will show you how to ace your job interview. Learn the best tips and tricks for before, during and after the interview. Preparation makes perfect!
1.00 – 2.00pm Meet the Middlesex Alumni – Virtual
Hear from Middlesex University Dubai alumni working currently in a range of industries about the nature and scope of the work they do and the path they took to build their dream career.
2.00-3.00 Middlesex Interns Panel Discussion – Virtual
Interns working across Middlesex University Dubai will share their experience of working at the University, what they do, and how it has helped them develop skills outside the classroom.

Ziad focused on how our students could find more clarity and self-motivation to boost their career, offering practical tips and advice.
DIFC Future Talent Week
22-24 November 2021
The DIFC Future Talent Week saw the participation of many companies like McKinsey and Co, Emirates NBD,Tabby etc. seeking to hire candidates. More than 90 Middlesex University Dubai students and alumni registered through the CES. The event also saw panel discussions led by industry leaders on topics such as sustainable growth strategies during the pandemic, employee retention, and upcoming UAE regulations.
MDX Dubai Accounting and Finance Career Day explores ethical finance with Louis Vuitton

We held our 10th Virtual Career Day for 2021 this week, our Accounting and Finance Career Day, which took place on Tuesday 25 May 2021. The event began with a fantastic guest speaker, Jawad Nasir, Financial Business Controller at Louis Vuitton, who engaged students in an exciting and highly-informative discussion about the importance of ethical practices and what it’s like to work in the field of finance.
Following this, students took part in a virtual networking session. This gave our future financial leaders the chance to gain the career insights and employability advice of different industry professionals (including Middlesex University Dubai Alumni) from notable global financial and business companies such as Deloitte & Touche, KPMG, Ernst & Young (EY) and Boston Consulting Group.
We are nearing the end of this incredible series of events, and we look forward to continuing to make our students 100% employable and supporting them along their journey.

Law & Politics Career Day featured prominent professionals from across the legal sector who spoke to our students about career pathways, placement and internship opportunities. Panelists and guests speakers included Dr Jan Knop (Head of Legal and Compliance, Airbus), Nicolas Pieri (Trainee Solicitor, DWF Middle East LLP), David Galea (Partner, Ince & Co) and Dr Laura Voda (Associate in Corporate and Commercial, Fichte & Co).
Psychology Career Day

Psychology students benefited from a wonderful panel discussion with faculty and practitioners which looked at the different career paths available for psychology graduates. This was followed by a Q&A session with industry leaders and a network session with organisations from across the psychology sector.
