Online and In-person Study: Important Update

Update: 7 th  February 2022

In accordance with the updated regulations from the Knowledge and Human Development Authority, we are now resuming classes in-person as normal, unless you have opted for 100% online study this semester.

All students will now return to attending classes in-person as per their timetable on campus at Dubai Knowledge Park or Dubai International Academic City. Please note that some undergraduate classes offer a Blended mode where lectures are online and seminars/workshops/labs are in-person. Please check your timetable for more information.

Students currently in the UAE who have health exemptions from the Dubai Health Authority or the official Health Authority in their emirate of residence can continue to opt for 100% online study.

International students who are unable to travel to the UAE and have registered their mode of study as studying online can continue to opt for 100% online study.

If you have not signed up to 100% online study this semester but wish to switch to 100% online study for the rest of the academic year, please contact the Timetabling team at  [email protected]  to learn more. You must have a health and safety exemption from the Dubai Health Authority or the official Health Authority in your emirate of residence to opt for 100% online study.

Please also reach out to  [email protected]  if you have any questions about your timetable or mode of study following this update.

Please continue to observe health and safety regulations when you attend classes on campus, including social distancing and wearing masks at all times. If you are isolating, are based in the UAE and are attending in-person classes, you may attend the online version of your classes temporarily.
