What is the Middlesex Student Survey (MSS)?
The MSS is a Middlesex University survey of undergraduate students at our Dubai campus. Managed independently by Ipsos MORI, the survey is completely anonymous, and the results will highlight what we're doing right at Middlesex, as well as identifying the key areas where you think we could improve.
When does the 2020-21 Middlesex Student Survey (MSS) start?
All undergraduate students across Middlesex University Dubai campus can complete the MSS from 16 March 2021 onwards. The surveys for 2020-21 are scheduled to run from March 16, 2021 – April 15, 2021. Students will receive personalized links to access the surveys. Awareness will be made through social media campaigns and online class visits. Due to COVID19 related health and safety protocols, no on-campus activities will take place.
How do I take part?
You will be sent an invitation email to complete the online survey on your Middlesex University Student Email address (for example, email@example.com, where xx are your initials, and nnnn is a number generated by the system). The sender of this email is Middlesex University Dubai (firstname.lastname@example.org). The email will include a unique link to the survey – please do not share this link with others.
How long does the MSS run for?
The MSS will remain open until 15 April 2021.
What overall response rate is Middlesex Dubai aiming for this year?
We are aiming to achieve more than 80% response rate from all eligible students. The results of the survey are intended to be made publicly available to help prospective students make their study choices. To be able to publish the results, each campus and each programme needs to achieve minimum response rates.
Who runs the survey?
The survey is run by the Academic Quality Service at Middlesex University on behalf of all campuses using an external partner to maintain data integrity, Ipsos MORI.
