ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

A minimum of ILETS 4.5 (with no less than 4.0 in any category) or equivalent.

Who will i be taught by?

Dr Louise Edensor SFHEA is Head of Foundation Programme and Pre-Sessional Programmes at Middlesex University, Dubai . She holds a PhD and MA in Literature, a BA Honours (First Class) in Humanities with Literature, and a BA Honours in Business Administration, along with an ILM Certificate in Supervisory Management. She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Louise’s teaching interests include Creative Writing, Academic Advising and the supervision of Master’s degree Education dissertations. Her research interests include periodical culture of the modernist period, the Writings of Katherine Mansfield, Foundation studies and Academic Advising.

I am currently a trainee solicitor at Pinsent Masons Dubai doing my first seat in Finance & Projects! The various opportunities at Middlesex coupled with the support of the incredible law faculty has been pivotal in kick-starting my career journey. In my role as President of the Mooting Society during my third year, I had the opportunity to set up the Society’s first annual legal newsletter alongside my committee members. We felt supported in organizing guest speaker sessions and arranging for participation in international competitions that took place in Vienna, Paris and Washington DC, among others. Whilst representing the university in these international competitions, we were coached by industry leaders whose professional expertise I found invaluable.
