Students are able to apply to have their certificates attested from the following:

  • Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA)

    Middlesex University Dubai is licensed by Dubai government’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) and getting your degree attested by them would deem your qualification acceptable to all private and public companies in Dubai, as well as universities for higher education.

    The fee for certificate attestation by the KHDA is AED 220* and the process normally takes 18 working days.

  • Certificate attestation in the UK

Middlesex University Dubai uses the services of an external provider to provide apostille and embassy attestation in order to authenticate your UK certificate for use overseas. This attestation includes:

  • Pre-certification by a solicitor;
  • Obtaining the apostille

    Attestation can also include:

  • Legalization stamp from the an embassy of choice in the UK;
  • Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the U.A.E. (U.A.E. embassy attestation would first be required in order to complete this)

Please contact the Student Office for details on attestation costs. The time frame for attestation is 15 working days.

The documents required in both cases would be the KHDA attestation form or the UK attestation form, along with a valid passport copy and the fee receipt.

*Note: This fee is set by the KHDA and is subject to change.
