Degree Certificates and Diploma Supplements

Diploma Supplements

All students who graduate from Middlesex University Dubai will automatically receive a Diploma Supplement on completion of their studies. This can be used to officially verify module results and final degree classifications.

The initial Diploma Supplement is free of charge and is available two months after the publication of final results.

Diploma Supplements cannot be issued to students with outstanding debt to the University. Any students with an outstanding debt must settle this with the Finance Department.

Certificates

All students who graduate from the University will automatically receive a final qualification certificate. Certificates are issued within 3 months of the publication of final results and are available at the Dubai campus CampusCentral for collection.

Certificates will not be issued to any student with outstanding debt to the University.

DIGITAL CERTIFICATES

From June 2021, students who graduate from Middlesex University Dubai will automatically receive a digital certificate and digital diploma supplement within 2 months of the publication of the final results. Please see this page on UniHub for information to obtain these digital documents.

Additional or Replacement Diploma Supplements

Requests for additional or replacement Diploma Supplements should be made via the CampusCentral in Block 16. There is a charge of AED 52.50 for an additional copy of a Diploma Supplement.

Replacement Certificates

If a certificate is lost or damaged (either in transit or after arrival to the recipient), the University may, at its discretion, issue a replacement certificate. However, the University will not issue additional copies to any applicant holding an original certificate.

A replacement certificate has the same standing as the original and is produced in the format currently in use by the University. Please note that only one replacement certificate can be issued by the University (at its discretion) therefore we advise students to keep their original certificate safe and store a digital copy for their reference.

There is a charge of £65 (AED 350)* for a replacement certificate and this may take up to two months to be processed. You are required to complete an online form in order to obtain a replacement certificate. Students may find this form here.

*Fees are subject to change depending on the exchange rate at the time of payment.

Third-Party Verifications

The Dubai Academic Registry (email: [email protected]) at Middlesex University Dubai facilitates the verification of academic records, including third parties and WES/ICAS etc.

Such verification requests should be placed via AskMDX (https://askmdx.mdx.ac.ae/) under the appropriate category. The request should contain the student/graduate’s consent to release academic information, along with clear copies of the degree certificates and diploma supplements (front and back sides of all pages, as this includes unique information).

Roy Anthony Rodrigues, Registry Coordinator for the Dubai Academic Registry, may be contacted for verification requests as provided below:

Middlesex University graduates after June 2021 are issued digital certificates and diploma supplements. Third parties wishing to verify a graduate’s qualification can also do this via the Middlesex University Third Party Verification portal.  Please do not use this portal if you are a student. Third parties should register to make a ‘Connection’ with a graduate (see User Guide), or alternatively, graduates can initiate a ‘Connection’ to share their digital documents securely via the portal. Third parties may also choose to Smartverify the qualification by scanning the QR code on the top left-hand corner of the degree certificate. Please see this page on UniHub for information on third-party verifications and obtaining digital documents.
