Your pathway to a UK degree in Dubai
Our International Foundation Programme (IFP) is designed to give you a head start on university life by teaching you the skills you need to thrive as an undergraduate student in the British curriculum. The programme takes just 30 weeks and is an ideal choice for students who didn’t start their undergraduate degree in September 2022.

Choose from 5 learning pathways
During the IFP, you will be introduced to a range of subjects taught on our UK undergraduate programmes, as well as being offered individual support to choose and apply for the degree you wish to study. You can choose from 5 learning pathways: Business, Law and Politics, Psychology, Arts and Media, and Engineering and Computer Informatics.
Progress to your second year in September 2023
When you start your IFP this January, you’ll complete the course in time to progress to the first year of your Bachelor’s degree in September 2023.

The IFP will provide you with the academic skills you need to thrive at undergraduate study in the British curriculum. You will develop your study skills; learn how to write effective and persuasive essays, assignments and reports; receive comprehensive academic support; and gain a foundation into the subject area you’re interested in.
Ease into student life across 2 campuses in Dubai
As a Foundation student, you’ll receive personalised support and guidance from your faculty and student support teams to select your undergraduate programme. You can also take part in all Team Middlesex sports teams, social clubs and events during your IFP, meaning you can make new friends from around the world and settle into campus life at Dubai Knowledge Park and Dubai International Academic City.
