MIH Global Entrepreneurship Week

Middlesex University Dubai and the MDX Innovation Hub will mark Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) from November 13-19 by hosting a series of inspiring activities and exciting competitions involving all faculties and year groups.

The theme for #GEW2023 is "Entrepreneurs Thrive Here", and the campaign serves as an opportunity to collaborate and engage with organisations and individuals to celebrate and spotlight entrepreneurs, expose people to the path of entrepreneurship, help them get started and facilitate access to capital and the resources to grow.

Throughout the week, our students will showcase some of their work and run their own initiatives to engage in the discussion of entrepreneurship and innovation. Students will play games such as ‘Name the Entrepreneur’, ‘Trust or a Lie’ and ‘Brand Pitch' to compete for small prizes.
 

About the Global Entrepreneurship Week

The Global Entrepreneurship Week movement celebrates and empowers entrepreneurs in every country and community around the world – especially those who face structural barriers or who may have never considered the opportunities and possibilities of entrepreneurship. Each November 10 million people take part in tens of thousands of activities, competitions and events that inspire them to act and provide them with the knowledge, experience, and connections they need to succeed. GEW is an international movement, organised by the Global Entrepreneurship Network and powered by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation with support from strategic partners.
