MIDDLESEX UNIVERSITY DUBAI’S MUCH AWAITED ICON SHOW 2023 IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER!

As the first-ever fashion show showcasing the graduating students of the fashion department, this event is a ground-breaking moment for MDX and promises to be a celebration of creativity, talent, innovation and originality. 

Invitees will be welcomed to take a seat around the catwalk as our young designers put forward their creative vision, honed over the three years of their study. The rising talent have been pushing the boundaries of design, creating iconic pieces to put them on the map with their individual stamp on every stitch. As this is an invite-only event, the audience will be a colourful industry mixing pot of stylists, designers,  journalists, influencers, and creatives gathering to celebrate the newest ones-to-watch, alongside our student’s proud family and friends.
 
The evening will not only be a celebration of fashion, but also a platform for important conversations around sustainability, inclusivity, and diversity in the industry. MDX ICON Studio is spearheading a sustainable way of teaching fashion design, with sustainably sourced materials, minimisation of waste, recycling practises and reduced use of plastic at the forefront of their education. Many of the collections are expected to highlight the student’s commitment to sustainability, with a focus on eco-friendly material and production techniques.
