Financial Education Programme

Date: 18th and 19th January 2023 (both days compulsory)

Time and Venue: 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM at the Oasis Theatre (Block 16, Dubai Knowledge Park)

The Careers and Employability Services (CES) team will host a 2-day Financial Education Programme for Middlesex University Dubai students as part of the ongoing Employability Expo 2023 (January and February 2023). Many young adults have noted that managing money and making financial decisions can be difficult when starting a career. Building financial literacy skills will allow students to have a more holistic educational experience, with practical takeaways that can be used in their practical lives. 

To facilitate this, CES and our Accounting and Finance Department have collaborated with KFI Global and Dubai Islamic Bank to develop and conduct a Financial Education Programme. This will run on January 18th and 19th between 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM at the Oasis Theatre.

This programme is fully sponsored by Dubai Islamic Bank, in keeping with its mission to spread financial literacy across the nation’s youth. This means that Middlesex University students will not have to pay to complete this programme.

This life-skill workshop is open to 50 registrants only, and it is mandatory for the attendees to attend on both days. There are still a few spots left, so if you are interested, you can register now.
