CIPD is the world’s leading professional organisation for Human Resources (HR) practitioners. We are proud to be a CIPD Accredited Study Centre and offer their globally recognised Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice. We are the only university in the region to offer this internationally recognised qualification, providing you with access to world-class academic learning in HR as well as leading professional expertise delivered by expert faculty.

The CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice is designed for students wishing to enter the Human Resources profession. You don’t need any experience to take the certificate, as the course will help you build the critical foundational knowledge and skills needed to start your HR career. Aurifer GCC Tax Certificate

October – November 2023

The Aurifer GCC Tax Certificate is the first executive programme on taxation in the Gulf region and has been operating since 2022. Brought by and endorsed by qualified professionals and academics in the field, the programme offers a comprehensive overview of tax systems in the GCC countries and the UAE. 

The Certificate covers the fundamentals of direct and indirect taxation in GCC countries, including Corporate Tax, VAT, Excise, and Customs. The programme also comprises modules on selected items of international taxation, focusing on their interplay with tax systems in the UAE and other GCC countries.

Who is the course for?

The Certificate is a must-attend for GCC practitioners working in tax consulting firms or as in-house tax professionals, government officials, as well as tax enthusiasts who want to develop a career in the Gulf region or acquire an international profile. 

Candidates need to have a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Law, Accounting, or Business, as well as a good command of English. Professionals without a degree qualification but with 1 to 4 years of proven experience in the tax field also qualify.
