LOGISTICS RELATED QUESTIONS:

All classes of the Aurifer GCC Tax Certificate will take place at Middlesex University Dubai (MDX) Campus at Knowledge Park. Classes are scheduled for day evenings, between 6:30 pm and 9:30 pm, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, in October and November 2023.

The Aurifer GCC Tax Certificate will be introduced by a Keynote Conference, which will take place on Thursday, 5 October 2023, at Conference Centre, Block 1  Dubai Knowledge Park. 

Students who cannot be physically present at the MDX Knowledge Park on a given day can join the session online. This is what a truly ‘blended learning’ experience means.

No. Teaching sessions will be streamed online, but class recordings will NOT be available.

Yes. The online class link will be communicated before a given session begins.

Each lecturer will provide students with material to prepare for class training in advance. Students are encouraged to review the material provided before each class since lecturers will refer to it during their lectures.

Middlesex University Dubai will provide students with certificates for attendance of the full programme or single courses.

TECHNICAL / CONTENT RELATED / ACADEMIC / CAREER RELATED QUESTIONS:

The credit system is based on the duration of a given teaching module. For example, the ‘Corporate Tax’ module lasts 9 hours (3 hours each for 3 day evenings) and, accordingly, is worth 9 credits.

Each teaching module ends with a final exam or exit test. The final exam will generally take the form of a multiple-choice test. However, lecturers can adapt this format to their individual needs and teaching methodology. Some courses may also require students to solve a case study.
