Audit Analyst 2021

Third year students competed in the Audit Analyst competition in a group of 4. The encounter required students to suggested the audit process during pandemic for a Non-profit Organization and their probable audit opinion. The case study used for this competition was authored by our MDX star Alumni, Orpha Suares, the regional topper at professional level of ACCA in Audit and Assurance paper and working for KPMG.
The cash prizes were bagged by:
- 1st Prize: Sanika, Ibrahim & Shafique
- 2nd Prize: Nafeesath, Sowmya, Harshi & Steni
- 3rd Prize: Puja, Alexander, Merell & Jonathan
- 4th Prize: Kashish, Shilpa, Simroz & Sarah
The competition had 2 rounds. The first round was held on March 15th, where the teams had to submit their analysis in a ppt format within 4 hours of time. The grand finale took place on March 18th, for which only the top 6 teams qualified. The panel of judges, Orpha Suares, Ms. Pallavi Kishore and Ms Bhumika Gambir, were impressed by students’ analysis and the spot on answers during the Q&A session. The competition was conceptualized and designed by Dr Vijaya Kumar.
