MDX wins at RAK Spotlight Competitions

MDX students recently participated in the RAK Spotlight Competitions – the online international intercollegiate competition held on Saturday 27 June 2020.
Final year student, Priyanka Awatramani secured the runner up position in the individual event, ‘Arbitrage’, a capital market trading game. Out of 74 participants, 20 qualified to the final round – with 13 of the finalists hailing from MDX Dubai!
In another team event titled ‘Pitch Perfect’, students were required to present a socially relevant Fintech business idea to a panel of judges. The MDX Dubai team from Year 2, including Harshi, Steni, Hibah, Chrizel, Nafeesath (Team Space On) secured the first position among the 12 finalists, shortlisted from 64 registrations. Year 3 students - Erin, Jasmin, Jesin, Kevin, Krishnanjaly, Tanzeel (Team W4W) secured runner up position.
Congratulations to all the winners and their wonderful mentor Rashita Puthiya, who worked enthusiastically with all the teams for both the competitions!
