Dr Krishnadas Nanath selected for Amazon Educate Cloud Ambassador programme

We are delighted to announce that Dr Krishnadas Nanath, Associate Professor in Computer Engineering and Informatics at Middlesex University Dubai, has been selected for the Amazon Educate Cloud Ambassador programme 2020.

Amazon Ambassador fellows receive unlimited research funding (as Amazon credits) for all the tech platforms, as well as having the opportunity to work with the regional Amazon team on projects involving new Amazon releases in the areas of Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, and Data Science.

The programme is a recognition and reward programme for leading faculty worldwide in the field of Cloud Computing and Machine Learning. The 2019 batch included members from prestigious institutions such as MIT, Harvard, Boston, Cornell, and others.

Congratulations, Dr Krishnadas!

The students of the Accounting and Finance Department celebrated the success of the second edition of the Financial Modeling Club (FMC2.0) on 6 March 2024. Led by students, this year’s FMC 2.0 featured four upskilling workshops and two competitions. A total of fifty-five students secured the Foundations Certificate in Financial Modeling, offered by our academic partner, FMI. Special congratulations to Chirag Kherajani for earning the Financial Modeling Institute scholarship for Advanced Financial Modeling certification.
