MDX Model UN Society - Success at American University of Sharjah

From 13 – 15 February, 9 students comprising the MDX Model UN Society competed at the annual AUS Model UN. This was the largest MUN held with over 1,4oo students participating.
We are so proud to announce that five of our students won top awards:

Mahatelge Minesh Lakshan Dias (Business Management - Marketing) – Distinguished Delegate Cyber Security
Sadia Saleem (LLB) – Honourable Mention General Assembly 1
Ishanya Nadkarni (LLB with IR) - Honourable Mention General Assembly 1
Our MUN Society this year comprises a number of 1st year students who are new to MUN. A special thank you to the Third Year law students who mentor and train them throughout the year – Yasmin Talal, Dillon Nazareth, Rifdi Abqary, Sadia Saleem and Mohamed Nor.
The weekend have been about student engagement off campus and it’s been great seeing them enjoy the MUN experience. We look forward to competing at Sorbonne Abu Dhabi in April.
