Alumni Discourse series: Mergers and Acquisitions cycle with Mr. Deepak Mirchandani

  • Monday, 18 November 2019

Department of Accounting and Finance organised the third session of Alumni Discourse Series on 14th November, Thursday in the university campus. Mr. Deepak Mirchandani, consultant at Grant Thornton, provided practical insights on mergers and acquisitions (M&A). He guided the students through a full M& A cycle starting from expression of interest by buyers or sellers, preparation of key documents, due diligence, valuation and final closure of the transaction.  Examples of global and regional M&As enabled the students to get an idea of how business acquisitions are executed by finance professionals.

Mr Deepak is currently pursuing ACCA along with his full time job. He graduated from Middlesex Dubai in 2016 with first class honours in BA Accounting and Finance.  Dubai campus is truly committed to providing wide range of opportunities for our students to learn, share and transform their potential to success.

Middlesex University Dubai students supported by Middlesex Innovation Hub participated in the TiE-U 2024 GCC/UAE Final Pitch Competition.
