Kavisha Kumari becomes first female player on the Team Middlesex Cricket Team

All of us at #MDXDubai could not be more proud of Kavisha Kumari of Team MDX, who has become the first female player to play in the Red Bull Campus Cricket world finals taking place at the end of October. Coach Rehan Nurie, himself an alumni of MDX Dubai, highlighted the way in which the University is “more than an educational institute and more of a family and where each and every student can feel at home.” Good Luck #TeamMiddlesex - we’re all rooting for you to bring home that trophy!

The students of the Accounting and Finance Department celebrated the success of the second edition of the Financial Modeling Club (FMC2.0) on 6 March 2024. Led by students, this year’s FMC 2.0 featured four upskilling workshops and two competitions. A total of fifty-five students secured the Foundations Certificate in Financial Modeling, offered by our academic partner, FMI. Special congratulations to Chirag Kherajani for earning the Financial Modeling Institute scholarship for Advanced Financial Modeling certification.
