Breast Cancer Awareness Day

Middlesex University Dubai, in collaboration with Brest Friends and Al Jalila Foundation under the patronage of Her Highness Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, hosted a day of activities to raise awareness of cancer. Students organised live performances, quizzes and games which opened up discussions on early detection and support mechanisms. A panel discussion was also held featuring two brave survivors led by our Senior Psychology Lecturer Dr Lynda Hyland, who discussed illness related fears and the journey to healing. All proceeds from the charity bazaar go towards this joint venture in support of cancer research and treatment in the UAE.

Thank you to Club Impact, Culinary Arts Club, Drama and Dance Club, and our Events Club for organising this remarkable day.
