The Emirates Digital Association for Women held its second anniversary meetup at the Facebook office in Dubai on March 15, 2016. Dr. Fehmida Hussain who is extensively involved in promoting Women in STEM  was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation as part of her role as an ambassador from Middlesex University Dubai at EDAW. The Emirates Digital Association for Women (EDAW111) is non-profit association established to guide, support, and empower women across the UAE in the fields of computer science and information technology. They are officially registered by the Ministry of Social Affairs in March 2014.
