Middlesex University student nominated as Student Mentor for WiSTEM

Middlesex University Dubai Student, Leanne D’Souza, Year 2 BSc Information Technology, Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics (DCEI) winner of various Hackathons and competitions, including the First Women in STEM Hackathon, organized by the Meera Kaul Foundation has been nominated as the Student Mentor for this year’s WiSTEM event to be held on February 19 -20, 2016. All DCEI students’ participation at competitions is coordinated and mentored by Mr. Jaspreet Sethi.

The students of the Accounting and Finance Department celebrated the success of the second edition of the Financial Modeling Club (FMC2.0) on 6 March 2024. Led by students, this year’s FMC 2.0 featured four upskilling workshops and two competitions. A total of fifty-five students secured the Foundations Certificate in Financial Modeling, offered by our academic partner, FMI. Special congratulations to Chirag Kherajani for earning the Financial Modeling Institute scholarship for Advanced Financial Modeling certification.
The month of February kicked off with an immersive field trip to enrich the student experience at the AI Film Festival at Expo City Dubai
