MDX Inter-University Business Case study Competition 2015-16 - Workshop

The student workshop on case study presentation was organized on Saturday, December 12, 2015. This was the second major event in the series of events of the MDX Inter-University Business Case study Competition 2015-16, with over 120 students attending the workshop along with their mentors from various universities. The event was a full day event, with three different sessions planned, that focussed on conducting business case analysis, building theoretical and applicative research skills, presentation and referencing skills.
The first session was conducted by Mr. Iqbal Noor (Vice President, Corporate Learning & Performance Management at du, UAE) on making effective business case presentations. During this session, students also analysed different case scenarios, made presentations, and were given feedback.
Middlesex University’s faculty Mr. Kieran Ross conducted the session on the use of strategic management tools in business case analysis. The last session was conducted by Dr. Mick King and covered the important skills of referencing and presenting.
