This year the Holy Month of Ramadan will begin on 18th June 2015, as per the Islamic scholars’ sighting of the moon. Ramadan lasts for one lunar month (approximately 29/30 days) and will finish on or around 17th July 2015.During the Holy Month of Ramadan, Middlesex University Dubai will be open to the general public between 9am and 3pm on weekdays.However, some areas of the University will offer extended hours of operations.

For our current International Foundation Programme and undergraduate programme students, classes will run between 8.30am and 3pm. Class timetables can be accessed at http://www.mdx.ac/student-portal/timetables-2014-2015/. Postgraduate January-start class timings will be from 8 pm to 10 pm.

The end of Ramadan is marked by the start of the Eid al Fitr holiday. Middlesex University Dubai will be closed for three business days from the beginning of the Eid al Fitr holiday – exact dates will be announced depending on Islamic scholars’ sighting of the moon.
