World Mental Health Day “Home Away from Home”
Date: 11 October
Home Away from Home
Definition: a place where you feel as relaxed as you do in your own home
This World Mental Health Day we are focusing on ‘Home Away from Home’ followed by a panel discussion with professor Aditi Bhatia and MDX alumni and current students. Team MDX have prepared dance, music jam sessions and activities to embrace mental health and the importance of self-care.
During the pandemic many people were forced to stop traveling and stay at their temporary homes. They couldn’t visit their home countries, see their families and friends. During lockdown, the MDX family tried to create a place where our students were able to feel supported.

We challenge you to send us screenshots of your (best) hour workout/activity during this week. Workouts, walks or jogs should be recorded by using a smartphone, smartwatches or free tracking apps.
Send us your results along with your details on email@example.com Subject: My MDX Hour or Instagram account @wearemdx Participants with most steps achieved or longest distance covered have a chance to win a prize!
