Question: Is there a ‘Best Paper Award’ for the conference?
Answer: There will be eight ‘Best Paper in Track’ awards given to the best paper in each of the conference tracks. Additionally, one ‘Best Student Paper’ award will be given to the best paper presented by a student.
Eligibility for Awards:
- Only full papers submitted and presented at the conference will be considered.
- In order to qualify for the ‘Best Student Paper’, the first author (and the presenter) of the paper must be a student.
An individual cannot win both the ‘Best in Track’ award and the ‘Best Student Paper’ award. The award selection criteria will refer to both the submitted paper and the presentation itself.______________________________________________________________________________
Question: What do the conference fees cover?
Answer: Conference fees cover the following for the presenter only:
1. Registration
2. Lunch on each day of the conference
3. Gala Dinner on Wednesday 25th November
4. Conference related material
5. Welcome, morning, and afternoon coffee/tea breaks with small bites each
All other expenses are to be borne by the delegates. Additional companion and daily packages are available.

Question: May I nominate myself for chairing a conference session?
Answer: Session chairs will be nominated at the discretion of the organising committee. If you are interested in chairing a session, please email the conference chair. However, no guarantees can be made.

Question: How many papers can I submit to the conference?
Answer: Each candidate is allowed to present up to 2 research papers.

Question: Do I have to present a paper in order to attend the conference?
Answer: No, you can register to attend the conference without submitting and presenting a paper.

Question: Do I need to submit a full paper if my abstract is accepted?
Answer: Acceptance for presentation will be based upon the submitted extended abstract (please refer to author guidelines). Please note that authors must submit a full paper for inclusion to the conference proceedings if they wish to be considered for the Best Paper Awards.

Question: What is the length of the optional full paper submission for the conference proceedings? (Or pages)
Answer: Papers can be between 3,000 and 6,000 words or 15-20 pages in length (including Tables, Figures, and References).

Question: Will printed copies of my paper be required on the day of presentation?
Answer: You are not required to provide print copies of your paper during your presentation, but you may bring a few copies (about 10) for distribution, if you wish.

Question: In what format should abstracts, papers or presentations be saved?
Answer: Microsoft Office compatibility mode. It is also advised to have with you a PDF version of all your material.

Question: How long will the presentation be?
Answer: 20 minutes (15 minutes for presenting and 5 minutes for questions).

Question: Will my paper/abstract be published?
Answer: It is intended that all extended abstracts/full text versions submitted, fully accepted, registered, and paid before 10th November 2015 will be published on a CD that will be provided with the conference proceedings to all fully registered delegates.

Question: Will I have the opportunity to have my paper published in special issues of journals?
Answer: Following the conference, presenters may be invited to submit their papers to a special issue of a journal in their field. Submitted papers will then be subject to the journals’ review processes.

Question: Can I request that my extended abstract not be included in the proceedings?Answer: Yes, if you do not want your abstract included in the proceedings, please indicate this on your submission and inform the conference chair.
