Being a student at Middlesex University Dubai has been the best three years of my life. I chose to study BEng Computer Systems Engineering and I feel the opportunities with this degree are endless. The faculty and my fellow students at the University have been extremely supportive, and I had the chance to work with well-established corporate firms from the start of my first year. Alongside my studies, I have represented Middlesex University Dubai in various events and seminars externally. As a former student of The Model School Abu Dhabi, I was able to avail a School Partnership Grant towards my tuition fees, in addition to the Academic Excellence Scholarship I was offered from the University. I am proud to be a student here and I have loved having the opportunity to meet people from all over the world.

My time at Middlesex University Dubai has been everything I could wish for. Studying BA Honours Psychology with Marketing has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to prepare me for life after I graduate. As an Indian student, the combination of a Quality UK Degree taught in the Gulf has made my experience at the University truly priceless. I am exposed to diversity from my fellow students and faculty, which has contributed toward my ability to work in a multicultural society – something I believe is fundamental for the field in which I want to work. The blend of academic and extracurricular activities at the University has made it the ideal place for me to study, with thought provoking in-class discussions and constant events and social clubs, I am always occupied – something which has worked really well for me.

Middlesex University Dubai has opened so many doors for me while providing the Quality UK education it promises to provide. Ever since I joined the University, it has been a second home to me and I look forward to each day because of my fellow students and the excellent faculty members. When I first joined the University, I feared that as an International Student I wouldn’t be able to fit in or make any friends, but everyone at the University has welcomed me with open arms and I’ve easily made it through my first year.

The University has also given me the opportunity to showcase talents I never knew I had. I learnt to dance for the first time after joining the Dance Club and I got the chance to improve my running by joining the Athletics Team whereby I have won multiple awards for the University. I’ve also been able to participate in many events which has boosted my self-confidence, something I really felt I lacked until now. I would highly recommend Middlesex University Dubai – it’s a decision you won’t regret!

Being a student at Middlesex University Dubai has given me the opportunity to explore my potential and learn life-changing lessons. My lecturers have supported me when I’ve needed guidance and through regular feedback sessions I’ve been able to identify my strengths and weaknesses and how I can improve. I’ve also started to volunteer at various events and contributing to life on campus has been a fruitful experience. All in all, the University has allowed me to develop and enhance my performance and abilities both in and out of the classroom.

My journey at Middlesex University Dubai has been incredible. It has provided me with a truly diverse and positive environment for personal growth and development. The faculty and staff are extremely welcoming and supportive both in and out of the classroom. The various sports, cultural clubs and activities ensure a lively environment around the campus throughout the year. The University has also helped me develop my employability skills with the Careers and Employability Service providing constant support for students. There is something for everyone here at the University, allowing students to transform their potential into success by setting them on the right journey toward their future goals.

My journey at Middlesex University Dubai has been so much more than I originally anticipated. Aside from the friendly faculty and staff, the University has given me so many opportunities to gain experience by working in real environments with real responsibilities. I’ve had the opportunity to intern, volunteer in various social and cultural clubs and work closely with the Marketing Department. The multi-cultural and multi-talented students at the University provides me with exposure to different kinds of people from different cultural backgrounds which I wouldn’t necessarily experience elsewhere. The Student Activities Department and Team Middlesex also allows me and my fellow students to showcase our talents, build confidence and achieve our goals.

My three years at Middlesex University Dubai has been a memorable journey. Academically, I was able to learn about the various aspects of technology as well as obtaining and developing core skills through both practical and theoretical assignments. The faculty members of the Computer Engineering and Informatics Department were outstanding and supported me throughout the programme. The University is equipped with a wide range of facilities and encourages students to participate in extracurricular activities alongside their studies. I’ve participated in and provided support during various events at the University, such as being MC at the Annual Youth Festival and volunteering during Open Days and numerous social and cultural events. As a former student of The Indian High School Dubai, I have also represented the University at career fairs held at the school to speak to students about my experience at the school and my time at University.
