Oracle Academy Day is meant only for faculty having speakers from ORACLE aimed at exposing faculty to the dynamic range of opportunities Computer Science has to offer. Oracle will give a leg up on what types of jobs are available for CS majors, and how to best prepare for them. Therefore, faculty is urged to attend this event to get major updates about the certifications offered by ORACLE.
CODE-JAM students will discover ideas based on E-Health, E –Learning and E-Government. They will be given three hours to code and five minutes to present. The contest encourages the development of creative problem-solving and communication skills as students work with their teammates to generate solutions to programming problems. Solutions will be judged for correctness, creativity, desirability (from the end user’s perspective), technical feasibility, business viability and core functionality implementation.
